5Red wanted to give the 'floating eggs' experiment a go at home ... here are the steps you need to follow. If you are unsure check out Mason's youtube clip a posts below.
Floating Eggs
1 Place water in a tall, clear container (can use a glass, vase)
2 Fill it with water (about 3/4 full) and place your egg in
3 Take out the egg, then add salt to the water (about 10 teaspoons)
4 Place the egg back into the now salty water and observe what happens (if you find the egg isn't floating, add a little more salt).

3 Research and find out why the egg floats once the water is mixed with salt.
when i put the egg in the clean water it sunk but when i put it in the salt water it floated but that is the same as us because if we were in the ocean we would float in the salt water because the water is thicker.
