GOLD RUSH EXCURSION
What a fantastic experience! Year 5 students dressed in some amazing outfits to take on the roles of diggers, troopers, traps, wives, blacksmiths, shopkeepers and bakers. Students assumed various identities throughout the day and experienced some of the hardships endured by the diggers on the gold fields in the 1850s.
