What a great night!

Year 5 classrooms welcomed many visitors to view the displays and work samples of what we've been studying.

Students were informative and confident tour guides, explaining the learning that occurred to create the items of work on display.

CATHOLIC EDUCATION WEEK

This week celebrates Catholic Education Week.  Take a moment to reflect on the impact that Catholic Education has for you and your family.

Today the school community joined together for a Liturgy, lead by Father John.

5 GOLD NEWS

There are two exciting pieces of news from 5 Gold........

RILEY - SKATEBOARD FALL
Riley had a fall from his skateboard this week and now has his arm in a half plaster awaiting further x-rays to see if it is fractured.
As it is his right arm, Riley is unable to write!  That's not good when you're in Year 5 and there is so much to do.............

OSCAR - MULTILIT AWARD
Oscar was very excited to receive his first award on Assembly on Wednesday.  Oscar has completed the first level of the Multilit program, which covers word attack skills.
Well done, Oscar.  Keep up the good work!

TERM 3

Welcome back!  We hope you're ready for another busy and exciting term of learning.  The next ten weeks will be full of new things to learn about, so make sure you stay focused and enjoy what happens.
