Day two was certainly a busy one ... We started off breaking into our 4 groups - the Blue Eagles started with a tour of the cemetery to see the history that is Stradbroke. Meet the group:
We then met Alan who took us through the Goompie Trail. Looking at how the Indigenous Australians lived we were shown plants that we could eat, how shields were made, mangroves, how they caught fish. Such a different life to our own!
After coming back to lunch (a very hungry group) we enjoyed a yummy salad and ham sandwich!! Getting straight back into it the eagles (renamed Smurfs) we were off to the Museum.
Then finishing off the day activities with a historical walk!
We certainly fit a lot in today ... So many things seen and learnt! Although ... The day wasn't over with all groups meeting back at camp for the mud flats!! Let the fun begin :)
